The gardens of Perthshire are really something special – the fertile soil and gentle climate have long inspired botanists, gardeners and horticulturists alike. That’s why you’ll find some of the most interesting and colourful gardens here – from small, privately owned and lovingly tendered gardens full of specialist plants and flowers, to sumptuous, formal gardens in the grounds of stately homes.

As keen gardeners ourselves, we are delighted to offer guests to Rose Cottage the opportunity to experience some of the most wonderful gardens in the area.

Enjoy at least three nights bed and breakfast at Rose Cottage, or a week in our self catering Coach House, and we will give you complimentary entry tickets so you can visit any or all of the gardens within the Perthshire Gardens Collection, completely free of charge.

The Perthshire Gardens Collection, which also includes gardens in Angus and Fife, brings together 11 spectacular examples of the gardener’s art that combine native Scottish plants with rare and exotic species from all over the world. From woodlands to formal gardens and from heathers to Himalayan treasures, you’ll find them all in the Perthshire Gardens Collection.
